Clarence works for the Southwestern Railroad Company. However, unlike other employees, Clarence does not work at a train station. Instead, Clarence usually rides near the back of the train.

Clarence can most often be found aboard a train. However, he has been known to frequent Rathskeller Fork in order to play a game of Horseshoes. He can also be seen at Benedict Point loitering in Moses' house and may even sleep there at night.

- Clarence's blue outfit appears to be the uniform for Southwestern Railroad Company employees, as other men who work at the train stations wear it as well.
