The Double-action Revolver is a weapon featured in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Description

Red Dead Redemption 2

The D.D. Packenbush Double-Action is a fast-firing revolver with medium damage. The advanced mechanism prevents the need to cock, at the cost of a heavy trigger pull and lower accuracy. The quick fire rate makes this a good choice for mounted combat. This gun has an ammo capacity of six rounds, and can use Regular, High Velocity, Split Point, Express and Explosive revolver ammo.

GTA Online

Rumors of a lost relic from the frontier have begun to surface, and treasure awaits those bold enough to seek it. Keep an eye on your iFruit for a special in-game email containing the first clue, then follow the trail to unlock the Double-Action Revolver in GTA Online. Once you acquire your gratis Double-Action Revolver, complete the Headshot Challenge in Freemode for a GTA$250,000 reward and unlock it for future gun-slinging exploits in Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Acquisition

It can be acquired by the player in a secret Treasure Hunt mission found in the Grand Theft Auto Online update, The Doomsday Heist.[1] Players receive it in their inventory after "Eastward Bound"; players who obtained it via this method will be the only ones to have the gold metal customization.

In-game, the gun may be purchased from all gunsmiths after "A Strange Kindness". It can also be picked up during the Home Robbery offered by Sean in Chapter 3, hidden under one of the bunk beds.

Trivia

The weapon is based on the Colt Model 1892 Army & Navy Revolver.
