The Duck is a water-dwelling bird found in Red Dead Redemption.

DescriptionEdit

Like all animals in the game, they can be hunted for sport or for profit. They can be heard quacking while flying. They can be identified while airborne by their plump bodies and long necks. During storms, however, is when they are least likely be found. The Ducks in the game also seem to be based on the Male Mallard Ducks, As the female mallards are all brown whilst the drakes(males) have bright green heads.

During the mission "Remember My Family", Edgar Ross is hunting ducks. This meeting is an opportune moment to shoot one of them, but note that if the player dies during the mission, then it will not be recorded that the player shot a duck.

Achievements/TrophiesEdit

The player must kill a duck to contribute toward acquisition of the following trophy/achievement:

	UNNATURAL SELECTION 20 Bronze Kill every animal species in the game in any game mode.
