Dead Whoa there! This place here is a nest of bandits.
Looks like we need a Marshal to come and wipe it from the face of the earth. Let's discuss the plan here.

Graveyards are locations featured in Red Dead Redemption, where the deceased are buried.

Red Dead RedemptionEdit

In Red Dead Redemption, Marston has to travel to various graveyards to help Seth Briars, who is a grave robber, during the missions "A Gentle Drive with Friends" and "Let the Dead Bury Their Dead". John has to help him more than once, doing things like transporting dead bodies for him.

In the Stranger side-mission "Let No Man Put Asunder", Marston has to travel to Odd Fellow's Rest and find Peter Turner's grave.

A small resting point reflecting on Beecher's Hope is made following the events of the final mission "The Last Enemy That Shall Be Destroyed", containing the graves of John and Abigail Marston, and Uncle.

Undead NightmareEdit

In Undead Nightmare, graveyards play a more important role as sources of the undead population. John has to burn a coffin in the graveyard first, which triggers the zombie attacks. John then has to burn all the other coffins. After a while, a zombie boss appears, who is often a character that was involved in the original Red Dead Redemption story. After all zombies are killed and all coffins are burned, the graveyard is cleansed and will stay that way for a day.

The maps for the Undead Overrun gamemode are all set in or around the various graveyards.
