This article is littered with spoilers, so I reckon you might ought'a mosey on down the road if you don't want to read any plot details.

Hell Pass is a mission in Red Dead Revolver.

Story

After escorting a wagon full of TNT safely out of reach of Diego's men, Buffalo Soldier must continue defending the wagon through the narrow, winding Hell Pass where unwelcoming Native Americans line the canyon walls.

Walkthrough

Mission Objectives

  • Escort the wagon safely through Hell Pass.
  • Defeat enemies along the way.

Mission Details

This mission is almost identical to the previous mission, "Stagecoach", and begins directly after it with no cutscene or other break. The only difference is that the attackers are not on horseback this time, but rather are standing all around the canyon walls.

Occasionally an attacker will jump down to the road or jump into the wagon for a melee attack. For this reason, attackers that are closer to the road should be taken out first whenever possible. Attackers may also prepare a flaming arrow, which can incapacitate Buffalo Soldier temporarily.

If an attacker is taken out in or near the wagon and drops a Medicine, there is a chance it will land in the wagon and help heal Buffalo Soldier. Often it will land on the road, however, and since he can't leave the wagon it passes by unused.

Once the wagon safely reaches the end of Hell Pass, a cutscene shows the wagon driver dropping off Buffalo Soldier at his closest approach to Brimstone. Buffalo Soldier says that he'll let the governor know about the driver's help, to which the suddenly nervous driver responds, "Same to you, I'd just assume Governor Griffon don't know who I am."

Another cutscene shows Buffalo Soldier arriving in the governor's office and telling him about General Diego. The Governor assures him it's all a big misunderstanding and says that Diego is one of his biggest contributors. At this point Mr. Kelley appears and draws his gun as the governor says, "Mr. Kelley here, he's going to take good care of you." The mission then ends.
