The Henry Repeater is a weapon featured in Red Dead Redemption.

The Henry Repeater is one of the four repeaters in the game. Of these it is the most powerful and has the second highest ammo capacity (12), behind the Evans Repeater (22).

Single PlayerEdit

  • The weapon is obtained by completing the Nosalida gang hideout.

Undead NightmareEdit

  • Similar to the singleplayer, it can be obtained after saving Nosalida from a zombie invasion.

  • The Henry Repeater is unlocked into the player's regular inventory upon reaching rank 32.
    • The "Henry Hurter" weapon challenges are unlocked at the same level. Completion of these challenges turns the weapon golden for the player.
  • It can also be obtained by killing another player who has the weapon equipped.
  • It is also carried by the Mexican Army.
  • The Henry is carried by a few Banditos at Rancho Polvo.
  • It can be found on enemies in the Pike's basin gang hideouts, usually the reinforcements which arrive after the player sets the bombs for the crates (along with the Schofield and Double-Action Revolvers).
  • The weapon is part of the loadout for the attacking team at Fort Mercer in Stronghold. It is also available in chests during Shootouts and Bag Games at Armadillo and Tumbleweed.

  • This weapon is equivalent to the High Calibre Rifle from Red Dead Revolver.
  • This rifle can bring down a Bear with two shots anywhere to the head.
  • Once this weapon is acquired, the Winchester Repeater becomes obsolete; since the Henry is more powerful, more accurate, has a higher magazine capacity, and similar firing and reloading speeds. In real life, however, the Henry was the 1860 predecessor to the Winchester, and was both less powerful and much slower to reload.
  • The Henry Repeater's weapon wheel picture incorrectly depicts the gun with a wooden forearm and a side loading gate;  the actual gun (like the in-game model, which is correct) has a bare magazine tube which is loaded from the front, and the only wood portion is the buttstock. This might mean that Rockstar originally intended to use the Winchester Model 1866 "Yellow Boy" which does have a forearm and loading gate and was more powerful than the model used for the Winchester Repeater, but changed it to the Henry as both these Repeaters have brass-like receivers and both were favored by Native Americans.

The Henry Repeater can be used to unlock the following achievements:

Silver Ps3 silver trophy
