Katie O'Grady is a supporting character featured in Red Dead Revolver.

History[]

Background[]

Katie is the daughter of Sheriff O'Grady, the local lawman of Widow's Patch who is only still alive because of Ugly Chris Bailey's affection for Katie.

Events of Red Dead Revolver[]

After Red Harlow takes on the Ugly Gang and the Sheriff is wounded, Red sets out to take him to the doctor in Brimstone, with Katie sending a telegraph to tell them of their arrival.

Katie appears later in the game, bound under the water tower at night in Widow's Patch by Professor Perry. Jack Swift must protect her through the level. During the fight, she will aid Jack by shouting where Perry appears. At the end she is freed by Jack and he insinuates that she should thank him by physical means. Jack expresses interest in a cash reward instead after Katie declines. Katie tells him about the dueling contest as Jack is talented with his dual revolvers and also indirectly mentions Mr. Kelley, saying she knows someone who would "win 5000$ in gold without even trying".

Katie appears once more in the game, captured in Diego's Bear Mountain mine. How Katie got there is unknown, since Widow's Patch is quite away from Bear Mountain. During the mission "Jailbreak" the player must open her cell to obtain another key and escape. There is a health boost if the player talks to Katie after unlocking the cell in a form of a kiss costing $1 to refill the player's health.

Showdown mode[]

Katie can be unlocked in Showdown Mode after the player purchases a horseshoe from a dead skeleton at the beginning of "Jailbreak".

Katie uses a revolver as her primary weapon, while her special ability grants her either a Zwei Fasser or The Lion with flaming bullets.
