I hear the mayor likes to dabble in opium. A lot of opium.
Norris Laskey

Norris Laskey is a minor character featured in Red Dead Redemption.

History[]

Background[]

Norris is the clerk and owner of the general store in Blackwater, S. M. Neely Ship Chandler and Grocer, which he aquired at some point between 1907 and 1911, previously owned by Sam Neely. He also appears to be a serious gambler, and has a relative, Captain Maxwell Laskey, buried at Blackwater cemetery.

Events of Red Dead Redemption[]

Norris can usually be found manning his store, where the player can buy and sell various items. Occasionally, he will be robbed, and appeal for the player's help in catching the thief. When not manning the store, he can be encountered wandering the streets of Blackwater, and occasionally he is found at the Blackjack table in the saloon.

Trivia[]

  • Sometimes, he can be heard spouting the benefits of various products, presumably ones he sells.
  • His head model is used for cannibals found in West Elizabeth.
  • He can be heard reporting to the player in his shop about a Chinaman getting run over by a horse-drawn carriage.
