The U.S. Army's 3rd Cavalry Regiment (3rd Cavalry) is a group of mounted infantry units fighting mexican rebels, and outlaws in Texas, New Mexico, and along the northern Mexican Border. 3rd Cavalry is a regiment sized unit consisting of a headquarters troop, two cavalry squadrons, and one reconnaissance squadron. Currently stationed alongside the Mexican Army at El Presidio, 3rd Cavalry is well positioned to respond to any situation, both north and south of the border.
