The music for 2004's Red Dead Revolver, developed by Rockstar San Diego, was a licensed soundtrack. It features authentic tracks from the Spaghetti Western genre of films the game was inspired by. It also features piano renditions of popular compositions from that era.

  • Many fans and even professional journalists mistakenly believe that all or a majority the tracks in the game are composed by Ennio Morricone.[citation needed]
    • Bruno Nicolai was an apprentice of Ennio Morricone, and the two collaborated on several Spaghetti Western scores, along with other soundtracks for various genres of movies.
