Stillwater Creek is a location featured in Red Dead Redemption in the Hennigan's Stead region of the New Austin territory and is situated just southwest of Thieves' Landing.
Background
The Stranger side-mission "Flowers for a Lady" begins and ends in this location.
Layout
Stillwater Creek is a swamp-like area of meandering waterways, dense undergrowth, long grass and hanging trees. There are a number of abandoned camp sites scattered across the region, and one small shack belonging to Billy West and his wife, Annabel.
Animals
Raccoons, skunks and wolves are all very common in this location. Cougars, boars, and foxes can also be found in the area, but are rare.
The creek is also home to the rare animal spawn Gordo the Boar, whose pelt is needed to complete Master Hunter Challenge - Rank 10. Jackalopes may also be found here when the Hunting and Trading Outfits DLC has been purchased.
Trivia
- Although it isn't listed on the in-game map, it will appear after using the Hennigan's Stead map.
- In Red Dead Redemption's official launch trailer, it shows that there was a gunfight between John and Dutch's Gang here.
- According to a campsite tale, Stillwater Creek was once an Indian burial ground.
