Most of the pics for the Stranger missions are of the Stranger giving the mission itself. With a couple of exceptions, of course like Jeb Blankenship (but I think that pic is funny). But I used the pic that's there for California because a)there wasn't one there originally; and b) because the pic that's up for Sam Odessa is so impressive I didn't want to reuse it for the mission.
Besides, you have to expect a certain level of spoilage when perusing a game guide. JackFrost23 02:11, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Blackened by dehydration[]
I know a persons tongue can turn black from dehydration. I think a corpses skin could turn blackened as well especially if left outside in a desert where the days could be hot and the nights could be cold. Thoughts? Johnny Siringo 00:17, October 28, 2010 (UTC)
Cannot Get California Stranger Mission[]
I completed the requirements for getting to the California stranger mission, completed the main storyline, and have nearly 90% of the game completed. Are there any other requirements, do I have to go to Gaptooth Breach and manually find Sam Odessa, or do I have to completely restart the game to find him?
I hope that it isn't the latter.
Availability[]
Are there any limitations or points in the game where >>Any<< of the stranger mission become unavailable? becasue I've conmpleted the main storyline but have only done 3 or 4 tranger missions and am kind of worried that because its 3 yearslater in the game andI'm no longer playing as ,john.
Not Available?[]

Availability[]
As far as I'm aware there are only two Stranger Side-missions that have restrictions: "I Know You" can only be completed by John and "Remember My Family" can only be completed by Jack.
So California should still be available unless you haven't completed "Women and Cattle".
Have you tried simply going to the area where the mission is supposed to initiate to see if you can find Sam?
There's a pic in the article of where you can find him on the map to begin the mission.
