Explanation[]
Page needs explanation on the controls used to activate dead eye and prehaps a strategy. Thanks!89.242.129.15 00:23, May 27, 2010 (UTC)
Name Change[]
The title "Dead-Eye Targeting" needs to be changed to "Dead Eye Targeting" with no hyphen. CrazyAmazing 17:02, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
- Why would that change be necessary at all? Most people just refer to it as "Dead Eye" to begin with? - Wagnike2 17:19, May 28, 2010 (UTC)
- It's just a simple grammatical error. The game manual refers to it as "Dead Eye" without a hyphen as compared to "Dead-Eye" as in the title. I changed the rest of the references in the article but am obviously unable to change the name. 97.104.76.127 03:31, May 29, 2010 (UTC)
- I sorted it. Sgt. S.S. 18:17, November 18, 2010 (UTC)
using auto-marking in level 3 deadeye?[]
Is there any way to get the auto-marking feature of deadeye level 2 back after going to level 3? If so, that should be on this page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by DJ TechnoBrat (talk • contribs)

Screaming Voice???[]
Has anyone noticed that right before Dead-Eye depletes you can hear a young woman screaming? If anyone has a guess go ahead and say so, I personally think it's John's Daughter. —Preceding unsigned comment added by HistoryofHumanity (talk • contribs)
- I go into Dead Eye all the time, and there's no screaming when you run out of Dead Eye. Conqueror of all Zombies 05:05, January 1, 2011 (UTC)
Fallout 3[]
This reminds me of VATS in Fallout............

- V.A.T.S. stops time, allowing the player to lock on to individual body parts, with a chance of hitting the selected limb. Dead Eye simply slows time, allowing the player to paint the target, and wherever the player selects will be hit (unless, of course, if something moves in between the player and the target).
- I can see where you're coming from, but, in my opinion, they're really not that similar.
Red Dead Revolver Deadeye[]
In Red Dead Revolver the deadeye system doesn't work exactly like mentioned in the article. "The weapon crosshairs cycles between three positions - a wide yellow cross, a slightly narrower red cross, and a tight red cross. The latter provides a critical hit which reduces the enemy's health more significantly." Yes, but ONLY in duels. In regular gameplay there's only small red crosshair.
