In real life, I'm not much of a gambler. I've played poker and other card games from time to time, and I've enjoyed it, but it was always initiated by someone else and I just joined in. In RDR I did the various gambling activities in single player and enjoyed them, but it was mostly just for the trophies, outfits, and challenges.

To my surprise, however, in multiplayer I'm still coming back to Liar's Dice, even after getting all of the titles and trophies. I love the action of the gun-based modes, but it's also nice to sit around the table for a friendly game now and then. I've found that the regular Liar's Dice players tend to be more mature and more fun (in terms of mic conversations) than the average player. Even when I screw up and get eliminated early, I still sit at the table enjoying the conversation and genuinely interested in how the game turns out.

Same with Poker, though to a slightly lesser extent. 2ks4 (talk) 06:15, July 31, 2011 (UTC)
