Red Dead Record: 1847 going to appear in PS Vita?
As I was reading in the "Genesis" thread in GTAForum, getting info about GTA V, I stumbled on something, there was a link with all the "TBA" games in Vita leaked. As I scroll down...I saw T2's list of Vita games and saw GTA and Red Dead Record: 1847.
Red Dead Record: 1847? As far as I know, maybe it takes place in the year of 1847 or a prequel for Redemption (as people speculated). Well, here is the link:

I'm pretty sure this is fake, for the simple reason that True Crime: Hong Kong was canceled a few years ago, so this list wouldn't have it as one of the games set to be released on the Vita. Another company bought the rights to it just this year and claims to be making plans for development, but it's still going to be a long time before they actually put the game together (if at all) and by that time I'm sure the Vita will have already long been out. So the makers of the Vita would most likely not list True Crime in their planned library of games, at least not so soon.

if it's in 1847 they will only have muskets. Furthermore, only about 20% of americans actually owned guns and even less actually used them. but if this is the case, there will be LOTS of proper native americans, not the crap ones in Dutch's hideout :P

I hope RockStar makes another Red Dead.........But I wont hold my breath. Its great GTA5 is on the cards, and I loved Carmageddon when it come out. Thort it was the best game ever made till Red Dead.

1847 is too early, almost all the weapons in red dead are after 1947
-
Red Dead wasnt even near 1947
-
if it were 1947 they would be carying submachine guns and bazookas and stuff like that and have tanks.
-
Most of the guns in Red Dead are between 1860-1918

So if its just going to be on the PS Vita Rockstar can still make plenty more DLC's for this one? Also what is a PS Vita it is a hand held device isn't it like then they did gta china town wars or something?
-
PS Vita is just a NGP handheld by you-know Sony. 'Cept with touch-screen, analog stick(s) and something about Downloadble games like PSP Go. Chinatown Wars was released in PSP Lite/1000 (or som'n)...1847? Civil era New Austin!
-
^ Civil War was the 1860's, boi.
-
Ahhh right. Well thank you for the info
-
Didn't people started migrating west of America around 1847?
-
From 1830's to 1920.

this should star landon ricketts

I argee jamyz.
-
I think Landon Ricketts was just a baby in 1847
-
1847? That's pre-Civil War era.
-
Interesting, though I've never owned or have any plans for a handheld gaming device (besides my phone as a secondary function). Chinatown Wars was on multiple platforms, however, so maybe this would be the same way. Seeing Carmageddon on the list also made me nostalgically happy - hope that has a PS3 version too.

Is it real?
-
I can't tell if it's real or fake, if it is real it will come out on 2012's ps4.
-
The Vita isn't the PS4, it's more like the PSP2 (portable).
-
I heard the p2p is touch screen.

Also you can alway dream of a second red dead redemption.
