What would you consider annoying? Losing by a point in a grab the bag match? Just as you were about to score, you're capped by another player hiding by the chest? Your router losing signal in the middle of a long session? Or being picked off by a lone wanderer during a public free roaming session? For me, it has to be the latter. After an hour of wandering about Tanner's Reach trying in vain to kill cougars to entice Kahn out into the open, my flatmate and I had managed to have Kahn spawn, only to be picked off by a couple of guys who just teleported to the region. Despite asking them to stop, posse up and even resorting to a crazy ass gun battle surrounded by cougars, they didn't get the hint. Wise up, or slide on! In all fairness, I'm aware that it's a public match, but come on!! They were asked nicely, shouted at, cursed at, but nothing. Like the next guy, I like a free for all shoot out in free roam as much as anyone, and even the game encourages you to kill public enemies, but this was taking it to far. There was no apology or respite in their abject assholery, just unadulterated super dickery! This was last night, so I left the session and took on a couple of hideouts on my own. On finishing up on No Salida, I was travelling to Tresoro Azul, btu on the way I crossed paths with a fellow cowboy, who I promptly domed and went about my way. Hypocrisy you say? Yes, but I sent the guy a message apologising for killing him, he was only lvl1, so not really a good first experience for the guy. He left the session, but returned shortly after. I sent him a posse invite, and we did another hideout together. Basically I was an ass, but made ammends. The other two guys, were just content in being tools. Can't like everyone I suppose!
