The Vulture is a large scavenging bird that is one of the animals found in Red Dead Revolver and Red Dead Redemption.

Description

Because of their size, they are easy-to-find. They are easily the largest birds found in the game. The type of vulture seen in the game is in real life the Cinereous Vulture.
Several vultures will often appear over the site of a violent battle to consume corpses. Sharpshooter Rank 9 requires the player to shoot six animals in one dead eye burst, which can easily be done on a pack of vultures after completing a gang hideout.

Red Dead RevolverEdit
A vulture is found in Tarnation during the mission "The Cemetery", circling over the head of Mr. Black. It may be shot by Red Harlow, the only bird in the game that can be killed.
Red Dead RedemptionEdit
Vultures are found to congregate near the site of violent battles or the deaths of animals. They spawn around gang hideouts after the hideout has been cleared in singleplayer.
Vultures play a small role in Marshal Johnson's mission "Spare the Rod, Spoil the Bandit" and Landon Ricketts's mission "The Gunslinger's Tragedy".
Undead NightmareEdit
Vultures are the only actual birds that make an appearance in the Undead Nightmare DLC, however they cannot be looted.
